Autoupdate doesn't work

I need to patch my game, as it was really buggy when I first played it. But I can't seem to download the latest patch on autoupdate - I get an invalid file message right near the end of the download.

What patch do I need to download (for single player) and where can I get it?

If you've starting using things like a Camera Hack or no-CD crack they'll stop the patching process becuase it checks the validity of the files. The manual patch won't work in this case either. Camera Hack comes with a simple facility to restore the original files.
