If Sir-tech remade Wiz 8 all polished and finished up all the loose ends in the game, allowed you to get the boat, and such.

There really aren't too many "dead ends" in the game.

1) The boat and lighthouse- was supposed to be a side quest
2) The condemned building- who knows
3) The fountain in the SE Wilderness- should do something?

That's really all I can think of, though. Am I forgetting some?

I know about the lighthouse and boat being scrapped. Also there is Rattus Rattus disapearing once you do his quest. I am certain that the condemned building was going to be part of some quest (though no actuall proof). Uh, fountain???

I have also heard that you can't end the Rapax Queen assassin thingy (playing a new game, will try to see what the fuss is about).

Yep, you're right- Rattus and the Rapax Queen are both bugged quests.

Lots of people think the vault and the aquarium in the Rapax Castle were supposed to be accessible, although I don't think that was the plan.

The vault in the castle shouldn't be accessible, thats why you find slips all over the place.

There's a whole bunch of stuff in the Swamp, too. Originally you'd have been able to get up on the rock with the trees leaning on it, and also on that riverbank that's inaccessable.

I've seen that particular rock yesterday for the first time, and had exactly the same thought.

It would've been a nice place to camp.

---and you can't get out of the river anywhere to save yourself. To get in: on the east side of the north end of the bridge, stay right on the edge of the bank and walk into the bridge. You can see the big boulders from inside, and the trees and stuff from underneath.
