Better then the first one, a little more questing, still not enough for my taste. Good atmosphere, runs pretty decent on my machine except with big fights, 50 hours or so playing time.

The game was rather slow in the beginning, you have to run some silly errands. But it gets better! There are alot of fighting in this game. But it's far more better than the first game. The hardware requierments are rather high i would guess.

it's cool to play a full (6 member) party with 3rd ed. rules and they have added some cool skills and feats, deities, races, spells... that didn't exist in NWN.
but it suffers from the old IWD problems:
mediocre graphic , tiny PCs and NPCs
combat is a mess!
characters are always standing in each others way (sometimes it takes 5 tries to exit to a new area! ) and the path finding is poor!

I can't say too much about story yet but it seems standard only....
but there are more quests than in the IWD 1
