DS pulled a nasty trick on me. "The Case of the Disappearing Items" I droped some half way good stuff in Meren, and planed to come back and get it after my group and I did our monster bashing. We went the Lang, took the Hub back to Meren. No items. I'm positive the other two guys didn't take them. Does this just..."happen to happen"??

It happened to me as well. I am wondering if items in towns decay (I left mine in Hiroth and went to the castle, came back and poof) despite that items in other locations seem to decay. Either that or a NPC picked them up. I find this unlikely since there are no roaming NPCs in those towns.

Oh well, there are always better items.

Yeah... once you walk out of a zone, loose things are all lost. Meaning anything you leave behind on the ground won't be remembered, or saved. If you want those things, carry them. If it's too much... that's what the mules are for.
