<--- Totally addicted to Armageddon. Great MUD for roleplaying. That said, I do not think MUDs as MMORPGs simply because the first "M" is invalid for them. They definately are not massive, sometimes having less players than a CS server could handle (depending on the MUD of course but no MUD actually manages to hold 1000 peoples online at the same time which is my own criteria for calling a MORPG as massive...)

Borderkeep

I am getting stoked about Borderkeep. It opens for beta in July and they are taking apps now. I used to play this mud way back when and it was fanatastic, and very hard. It was actually challenging to level and the world felt really alive. They shut it down and are now re-opening and I cant wait. It's at www.crpgresource.com/borderkeep.html
In the meantime I am toiling away on Multi-Users in Middle Earth (or M.U.M.e.) hehe
