Im not totaly positive about this poll. but what the hay.
And im not sure how Blizzard would implement warcraft IV into the equation after the MMORPG release, heh.

I think Blizzard will--and rightly so--focus on World Of Warcraft for at least a year after it's release before even starting another RTS Warcraft game. The launching costs of an MMORPG (especially successful ones) are astronomical. They're probably 10 times the cost of a regular (non-MMO) game. It would be downright foolish for Blizzard to direct finances elsewhere. Launching an MMORPG is very risky business. I'm 98% certain they're focusing at least 95% of their resources on WoW. (If they aren't, then WoW will probably be the letdown of the century. )

I'm not much of a war3 player, but I would love to see another game. But there is no chance to see war4 in the next ... 6 years ... at least. first, the current game is still going well for Blizz to release another, then comes WoW, and finally I say it is about time for Blizz to put out a new StarCraft RTS.

Nice to know guys,
But if they were ever to do so, and during the time people are still playing WoW, how do you think they could implement warcraft IV, as in plot.

In order to make another Warcraft RTS and continue the story, they would have to simultaneously continue the story in both World of Warcraft and the RTS game. To elaborate, players in World of Warcraft would witness the story unfold in their gaming experience the same as those who play the RTS would. (Obviously the people in World of Warcraft would witness it in a more realistic way--being a MMORPG and all--but those playing the RTS would witness the story unfold in a faster pace. I'd assume the story would unfold in WoW before the RTS game's release.
