A lot of MMO's are due soon, err kinda soon, and they all have their interesting aspects of game play. But one I've been following and will continue to follow until it's realease, hopefully before I die, is Darkfall Online. Here is the link to the FAQ section, but if you're like me you're to lazy to do that so I'll add a couple comments about the game here.

Ok anyone remember UO, I mean the old UO, that is what DF is looking alot like, only up-to-date graphics engine, also it's skill based, meaning you don't get good a using a sword just for choosing that as the type of weapon you want to play. Any and all skills will be learned from an NPC, from weapons and fighting with those weapons, to spells and learning how to cast those spells. Some skills the NPC will send you on a quest before teaching you. You also have to learn how to swim or drowned in a feable attempt at crossing a trickling stream. The game is totally PvP, with an added enphasas on race discrimmination. Eating is in the game, not as a negitive effect but if you're starving you won't regenerate HP's or mana as fast. Player housing, mounts, and politics. I'm missing a lot and it's all looking very intersting. Check it out, did I mention the only view it offers is first person perspective. Good IMHO, for a PvP game.

I cant help but get excited about Darkfall. The absolute freedom is going to be astounding. And the focus on clan wars is, well, its awesome!
