The Heavenly gift skill.

I just got to level 24 and took this skill with my mage. What I want to know is what does putting this skill up levels do, and what is the chance of getting a restoration potion?

If it's restoration potions that you are after you are far better off just putting the point(s) into alchemy and making your own.

Combining health and mana makes restoration (just drag one over the other in inventory) and they are MUCH more powerful than the health and mana ones are on their own.

I never used anything more than minor restoration potions (and still finished the game with 60 of them spare) and as far as I recall it only needs one alchemy point to be able to doing the combining.

I added one point into alchemy, and I've got heavenly gift at level 2. It produces normal mana and healing potions, and I can combine them to make a restoration potion.

This seems pretty exploitable, since I can use up all my mana on heavenly gift, and make 5 or 6 of each mana and health, make that many restoration potions, drink one to be on full mana and repeat.
