I NEED to know... the release date

There are different release dates all over the web and I don't know which one to trust. I want to play this game so bad it's literally painful. I've turned a group of friends onto it and the anticipation is fever-pitch. Does anyone here know when Arx Fatalis is due, or at least a playable demo for Yankees?

It is in beta now. The official site says Q4/2001 - but I guess they are wrong. I'd say Q2/2002 would be realistic
