AL-SEDEXUS

Why does Al-Sedexus not take myles as a sacrifice?
do i have to sacrifice a real party member?
is there no other way to become a templar?

No, this is only way. But do not worry about it. Just sacrifice someone worthy enough. This sacrfifice is restricted to man or woman, I am not sure. Try it.

Gotta be a man unless you're running an all female party. If you're running an all-female party, you must dismiss any male RPCs before offering up one of your party. You must have the latest patch in order for the all-female party thing to work.

@danicek:
do not worry?
She hexed my ninja and now he doesnt hit anything!
And he loses hit points!
And these two conditions cannot be cured (neither by my bishop nor my priest)

Still do not worry .

He enthralled (or what was that word) my main melee fighter and I was like without right hand without him.
But medicine is before you. Just go forward .

(well if your party was really "one member dependent" you will have hard, really hard time)

Nope you can't cure Al-sedexus curse other than killing the bitch. She will be at the temple in the Rapax area, but if you kill her you will get every Rapax against you except the merchant Ferro, so find the right time to do it!

maybe i am not right, but i always thought, al-sedexus is a female..

however, i have already every rapax against me, except the templars, but they aren't too strong for me.
At which temple will she be? Where i met her first (behind el dorado) or at a higher level of rapax castle?
If i kill her, will that rapax-necro turn against me?

Yes, you will meet her in room where you met her first time.

Yes, nearly all Rapax will turn against you.

Al-Sedexus can be killed without turning the Rapax. If you go behind her when she appears again at the ElDorado you can initiate combat without talking first, get her before she can summon help. Even if she does summon help, don't hit any of the help, just web/freeze/paralyse them and leave when A-S is dead. Faction rating stays the same.

How do you know that your character is enthralled by Al-Sedexus? I "sacrificed" my ranger, who was accepted, but he doesn't seem to be behaving any differently.

Well I withdraw this question and my comments that I posted earlier. I got my answer later, and he was enthralled and I know it! As Dteowner says in the post below, the enthrallment doesn't kick in until later.

You should have gotten a status icon for enthrallment (IIRC, it's a heart) that shows up next to the character portrait, just like the poison, paralyzed, etc., status indicators.

The effects are similar to "hex", but don't kick in until you leave the castle.

I've edited my post to take out my comments on enthrallment. I finally left the castle, and got hit with the enthrallment.
