I have the latest version, I find PP to be almost useless now.

On another note, anyone know where Bayjin is???

I've been all over the map, and for the life of me I cant find it.

Also, I got Martens idol, and words and got the helm...am I done with Trynton now?

Also, when you become an initiate for the Rapax, is it normal to be attacked all over the lower part of the castle after getting the 3 parts of the initiation?

There's two ways to get to Bayjin. Check out the map on page 101 of your manual. Looks like you could just about jump there from the north end of the swamp, doesn't it? If you ally with the Umpani, the second option just might open up to you.

Do you have the Astral Dominae yet? If not, you aren't done with Trynton.

If you became a Templar, you shouldn't be getting attacked by the Rapax. Something must have gone wrong for you.

My game didnt come with a manual, where can I d/l the .pdf version or something?

well there is no question I did something wrong. All weekend I've been trying to find Bayjin...I did all of Umpani up to the Bayjin mission and all of T'rang up to the crash site mission. From there I got stuck and the only area I found open to me was Rapax, so I went...
Went in, cleared the whole place, killed El Dorado, talked to Rafe, freed the 3 prisoners (never got the staff yet) got to Al-Sedexus, she told me to see her templars in the high castle. Talked to Al-Adryian, got the badge got the 3 items, (Robe, Hat, Dagger) but all the patrols on the main castle floor attack all the time, on the 2nd level everyone is cool. After I got the 3 pieces for the initiation, I couldnt find al-adryian. From that point I got to the king's apartment and the tower and I realized I missed alot...
So then I went back to Marten's Bluff, got the idol, wenrt to Trynton and got the helm, killed the Don and got the AD (Trynton is done now yea?)
Then I went to the mine's (finally found it) and got the android and...stuck now
What went wrong?

First off, make sure someone in your party can cast a good soul shield. Going to Bayjin without that spell will make your life very difficult, and quite possibly very short.

Go to the swamp. There's a "river" that splits off a portion of the north. Find the bridge over that river. From there, head north, and a little east. You'll find three huts. Just to the west of those huts is a path that turns north. If you get a nasty visit from lots of Rynjin, you're on track. That should lead to a tunnel, which will dump you out in Bayjin. When you're ready to leave, let us know- there's a second way off the island that you'll want to experience. You haven't played Wiz8 until you've met Nessie.

You're done in Trynton.

I don't see anything wrong with what you did in the Rapax Castle. I'd recommend a reinstall if the fights annoy you.

Two huts.
Plus, you can get up that hill from the west end of the beach in the north of the Swamp. There's one spot, if you keep trying to climb the cliff there. I like it better for the fight, because you can back down right away to string out the mobs.

With regards to Al-S, you didn't complete the initiation yet. You can go back to see (and especially hear ) what you've missed.

Other way to Bayjin is through the Upper Caves in Mt. Gigas. For a true challenge, meet Nessie head on this way. (I never thought sneaking up from behind her was nice, and I never did.)

Al Adryian should be a little ways in from where you left him, in first room on the right on the way to Al-S's couch.

heh, I grabbed the 3 items and forgot to go see her. Anyway I finished initiation in the castle, lots of nice green dots everywhere (whew)
I got the Staff of Ash (summon elemental is key to Nessie and Lava Lord and other big boys) and the key but Im having a hell of a time figuring out the combo to his cage, maybe there was a drawing I missed...so much to cover in this game, I love it

Well it seems that trick about handing Z'ant a quest item doesnt cut the mustard when it comes to the aliiance. I got the two guys out of the jails (btw, the stockade guard has the keys to their cells, the king gives you the key to the stockade itself) killed the King, couldnt find the prince he's always fading away on me, 1st at the castle now here ...

Anyway, for some reason Z'ant has been like this for a while (do you have to visit the bartender in Arnika every so often to let her help keep your secrets? I cant understand why / how they found out?

I did make the small mistake of recruiting that T'rang samurai from the mines and I accidentally took him to Umpani base with me (he decided to bail before being caught inside). I didnt think anything of it until I saw that his meeting spot is Marten's Bluff and not the mines...think he told?

So now I got this spider and rhino in my party, the rhino's boys want to play nice and the spider is ready to eat me the second I say the wrong thing at him. Its looking like Im going to have to skip the alliance this go around and go for the kill (end game) Im starting to walk around through towns with a lil strut , 8-12 rapax battles are easy for me now, I think Im ripe for the end anyway

I had the trang and umpani guys from the rapax King also and Zant went ballistic as I talked to him first figuring to get the Alliance. So I killed everyone. If I had gone to Zamir the Umpani general first I think the alliance would have worked for me. You seem to be a little out of sequence, alliance wise so Hit the Rapax Castle and ascension Peak transporter. I haven't got it (alliance) right yet but It's not a biggie. Expect a reality check, battle wise ,on Ascension Peak along with extreme fun

oh yea, this is my first time around in this game, the sequence is way out of wack, but Im having fun and my guys kick much butt...
Thats why Im figuring on just going ahead and finishing the game, battles stop being 50/50 after I left Trynton and got summon elemental...
The place where you get the sorceress' heart...cake
Nessie...cake
El Dorado...cake
Sedexus...cake
(Elemental, Nuclear Blast, Falling Stars all the way)
Now I dont know about variety or a exciting adventure...but the team I created for this go around, I dont think I could have made it any better *arm breaking from all the pats on my own back*
Just like I figured, the 2 fighters provided enough of a buffer for the rest of the group to specialize their own thing instead of worrying about the front line.
*Bloodlust is the best sword I've found so far, the extra attack, +5 to sword and the berzerker mode makes this a god-send for the young meleer
since both my draco fighters were clones of each other, I would have them switch when one's stats started got too far ahead of the others.

Anyway, if you go to the Umpani first, he agrees and says he'll go for the alliance provided the T'rangs go for it, but its Z'ant that gives up the allaince letter, and he's been mad at my group for a long time, my problem is I dont know what triggered it

There are threads here that discuss what the triggers are. As near as we can tell, there is a random element that's just uncontrollable. Suggestions to keeping the secret and both sides happy - pay off He'Li, rat out Kunar, and travel with Vi in your party! No guarantees, but this is what various people have suggested.

If you have the Umpani alliance letter, you can still make Z'Ant happy enough to speak to you. Approach Z'Ant with the Astral Dominae in hand - he'll say he's not interested in it now. But this gets you through to the conversation screen without him doing a friendliness check. Then you can give him the alliance letter.
