I am thinking about playing an assasin but want to know what the duel classes are. This game seems to take some nice qualities from EQ and I was wondering if you get like double attack or duelist ability later on in levels or just start working on the sill now. Are stealth classes able to use shields? I am hearing that you can take a warrior and pretty much become a mage if you wanted to. Kinda like Dungeon siege where you develope the chara like you want to.

Classes in morrowind are just superficial names for a group of 10 skills which will (increase) faster then the other skills in the game, EVERY character may use every skill and advance in each one. So yes a thief can use a shield,and a mage can use a claymore and a Warrior can cast a fireball or healing spell, its just a matter of how well they can do it and how long it takes them to get better at it.
