| Deadline in thief guild task |
|
I was given chalice task in thief guild, but i was too small to fulfill it, so after some time(20+ days) and collecting all 6 chalices i went back to guild, but Cassia tells that i have missed deadline and attacks me. If i advance to chapter 2, then Ramirez gives me task of finding sextant, but Cassia anyway attacks me.
Oldest savegame is just as i had talked with Cassia for first time, but 2 day deadline already is set, and i need aprox 35 LP to learn required skills/raise dex.
Any ideas how to fix this problem?

The thieves guild quests are only optional for mercs and mages. Not 100% sure if for paladins also.
If you donīt need it live with the failed quest.

It's funny that you post them because I have encountered almost the exact same problem - but I found a way to fix it.
Here is what happened.
I am replaying the game as Mage/Theif so I go to Cassia and say I want to think about entering the theives guild. She tells me I have 2 days to make my decision. Then later on the very same day I go, "Okay, I'm in". She gives me the first mission of getting Constantino's ring. Now more than 2 days pass and eventually I return with the ring. When I talk to her, the first thing she says is "Your deadline is up--,etc, etc" and she attacks. At first I was frustrated, then I found a way to get around this. Let her attack you and just run like hell away from her until she gives up and walks back. Then, return to her and she will have forgotten everything. The conversation will continue as normal and you can return to getting your missions.
Obviously there is a scripting bug here that does not stop the 2-day decision timer when you finally agree to enter the Theives guild.
NOt sure if this was a problem in the German version, but PB definitely has plenty of issues to look into as far as an English patch is concerned.
