Im thinking bout doing a mod for magical arrows but need to

Hello All,
I need to know how to add an new item to an already existing merchant.I want to take some requests for magical arrows and add them to a merchant but have no idea how to do this,i can alter an existing item to make a new one.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciative.I want the arrows to respawn in the list to.
If some one can help me out,il take some requests for arrows.

Hey Emerald viper your threads helped me out a lot, heres what i had to do:
First make your item, unblock npc, drag the item over to npc and add the amount, now i wanted the ammo to respawn so i entered -40,then i had to drag the item into a chest by him as well.
Hope this helps,

Does it have to be -40?
Is it possible to use any (-) negative value?
or is -40 a special value for spawning or something?
Thanks for info, and I am glad my posts have helped you.

You have the container the item is in properties window open, then you should either delete it with DEL key, or maybe drag it out of box into Objects window?

Never tried to remove an item. I'll fool around and see what I can figure out.

The negative value makes it basically an infinite amount for that vendor.
A vendor with -40 Awesome Arrows of Anarchy (TM) will have 40 of those arrows whenever you talk to him, so you could buy 40 then close the dialogue box and talk to him again and TADA there's 40 more.

However you can't steal those arrows and have infinite arrows for yourself, since if you steal them, not only don't they respawn for you, they won't respawn on the vendor either, If you steal 10 out of 40 it will respawn 30 etc...
