display/graphic problems

Having problems running gothic in fullscreen mode - any objects or portion of the screen behind the main character or Diego (at the beggining) does not get re-drawn resulting in a brown block or the sky filling in. So I can move about in a wierd brown/sky world..nice....

Ive installed Direct X 9 and that didnt sort the problem out - updated the Vid card/display/adaptor drivers and still no joy... I edited the ini file for no fogging, lowered the texture details etc and still the same...

It does however have no problems in Windowed Mode - but it is exceptionally slow to the point of falling asleep by the time ive turned around.

Im running an AMD Duron 750 with intergrated Sis 730s Chipset (64Meg Shared)
60 gig HD, over 500meg Ram, newest drivers I could find.....
Im hoping I dont have to buy a new card..
I have read somewhere that disabling D3D fog option should help but I cant for the life of me find that anywhere. Any help or clues?? Thanks..

One of the Gothic II (not Gothic) developers said it�s very unlikely Gothic runs on SiS 630/730 graphics without serious graphics problems. No known workaround.
