So far, official release date is Q2/2003. No certain day. Mind you, a distributor hasn't been found yet.

create a rpg-publishing company to distribute such games internationnaly !!

when i click on the order gothic 2 commercial i get to this page:

and the page says: Release Date: April 17, 2003 
but it could be a lie again... i just downloaded the demo so maybe i can forget about waiting 2 more years to the full game <--- yes! 2 more years |

I hate to be a downer but my EB retailer in toronto told me that their expected release date is May 12. |

When we attack thier HQ, we can tell everybody that they had WMA (weapons of mass annoyance). And then saying that thier president tortures their workers could help our cause

It's strange. I visitted a danish rpg website (www.rollespilcentralen.dk) and they a news update that stated that a danish computer-company had imported about 100 copies of the english version of Gothic 2, and they were available since this monday. I haven't called the company myself, but I assume that it's true since the website apparantly has close connections to the computer-company. I send them an email this monday asking for verification, but I haven't got any reply yet.
I'm just thinking .. assuming that it's true - where the hell did they get those copies of the game, if it isn't published yet?
