Bug or Gameplay?

About halfway through the Cursed Abbey my Vitality started dropping to nil. Potions, sleeping, etc do nothing to stop this, and it has become extremely annoying. Is is a bug? It didn't happen last time played this game. If it's gameplay, how do I make it stop, because enough is enough! If it's a bug, is there a way around it? I'm certainly not playing any more with a character who runs out of breath every thirty seconds.

Try dropping recently aquired items!

I found a large (maybe Halbard (sp??)) that drained my fatigue. Once I dropped it the drain stopped.

Almost all through the game my mage has been wearing a "something strange" amulet that has a very big magic bonus. It doesn't say cursed and it doesn't say anything negative. I'm pretty sure I've seen other items with a -N for an attribute.

Maybe I'd better check out the amulet. But even if it is doing some harm, it must be doing a lot good. My mage is very powerful.

As I recall, that item is cursed also. Only, it does have positive aspects and I played through a lot of the game with it also.

I have a feeling I've been wearing tht one too....just because it's too good to be true! I'll have to have a look at that a bit more closely - although I think I wore it all the way through my first game without noticing anything wrong.
