lalalalala...

I won't give a translation...

Translation:
There once was a forummember who spoke of a donkey with big ear,
nobody wanted him to hear,
Death alone could set us free,
of all this pain and misery.
close down your mouth (and go back to bed)
cause such a thread is not gonna be read.

(): this is sth added by me for the rime.

There's one rule in this forum: No flaming! I for one don't consider this really flaming, but watch out for the future.

Soaring upwards
Crowned by flame
Capped by winter
in summer's haze
Proud and alone
til Earth's last days
Forged by fury
Worn by tears
Tempered by breath
Unrivaled by peers
First touched by light
Sanctuary to life
Last touched by light
Bringer of death
Merciless and Mercyful
Accepting and Defiant
Mountain of Light
Mountain of Light

**you are talking to the one,who can NOT be flamed**
By the way if ever something manages to insult me then at least four
others ----------_ThE_bRiDe will appear to this forum and then we can
mess it up a little. But I am not that bad generally.

I don't have poetic vein, so i won't try to write a poem, because i don't want to hurt anybody:) But, i write down my favourite for you. (I'm sure many of you know it:))

We've dug our holes and hallowed caves
Put goblin foes in shallow graves
This day our work is just begun
In the mines where sliver rivers run

Beneath the stone the metal gleams
Torches shine on silver streams
Beyond the eyes of the spying sun
In the mines where silver rivers run

The hammers chime on Mithral pure
As dwarven mines in days of yore
A craftsman's work is never done
In the mines where silver rivers run

To dwarven gods we sing our praise
Put another orc in shallow grave
We know our work has just begun
In the land where silver rivers run

I liked that I'll copy paste it.

Thx Val, but it's not mine. It's from a Salvatore book: Silver Streams. I just wrote it down:)

There's an abundance of good dwarven poems in D&D fiction. I like the dwarven war song from Dragonlance, for example. But this is a thread for original works, no matter how terrible.

The Barricade
-----------------

Hearty, me lads
The tunnels run long
Hearty, me lads
Fill them with song
Of brave deeds and war
Of hard work and lives
Of mining and warfare
Each dwarf does strive
Hold the line, boys!
Let no foe cross here alive!

..ooohhh...many good poems and I just wrote a traditionala Greek song for kids.Let me pay back it to you with something from my writting days

Eternaly Alone
----------------------------------------------
could I become part of the past
or my suffering forever will last
years passing by
even mountains die
cursed forever to stand here
nothing more left to fear
all seem so peaceful, all look so dead
nothing than my shadow moves
nothing than my spirit wishes
death to me will never arrive
dammed in immortality,forever alive
the past for me will never end
everything last,forever without end
the next day eternaly will dawn
my body decays,forever alone
-----------------------------------

I know its a little darky but the others was a bit darkier to publish.
