NotR: Do I need to get the Eye to be a Paladin? |
|
Possible spoilers below for those who haven't finished G2 at least once.
*********************************************************
I'm in the militia and at the Monastery I've discovered that Pedro (that jerk) has run off with the Eye of Innos. My armor is just not up to fighting Seekers at this point (I need that Paladin armor) but 'old what's his name' in the upper quarters keeps telling me I'm not ready yet. I remember from the original G2 that there's a fight with 3 Seekers to get that Eye (damaged) back. There is no way I can take on 3 of these SoBs with the armor (militia) I currently have. Man, did they make these guys *hard* in NotR or what? Twice as hard would have been sufficient. But they're *way* harder than that. So, is there a way to get that better armor for becoming a Paladin before I face them, or is this the only way. And, any tips for beating these guys? I beat one of them to get out of the VoMs earlier, but that took about a dozen times punching the 'heal' key until he finally went down. Thanks a lot. |

Yes you will need the Eye, it's a main quest item.
Did you go the Jharkendar first, the addonworld. If not, go there. You can gain a lot of levels there and so be strong enough to take out the seekers.
And buy all the items that give you more fire protection, ie rings, amulets, belts. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

No, not yet. I'll do that and thanks very much for the advice. |
