I was trying to post some time savers yesterday but I think the server was having trouble and I couldn't edit my post.
Anyway here it is again:
If you take your current health and add to it you can save time for these things,
Current Health + 4 = Max Health
Current Health + 8 = Current Mana
Current Health + C = Max Mana
Current Health + 10 = Strength
Current Health + 14 = Dex
Current Health + 24 = 1h Skill
Current Health + 28 = 2h Skill
Current Health + 2C = Bow Skill
Current Health + 30 = X-Bow Skill
Current Health + 1FC = XP
Current Health + 204 = Skill Points
You may notice when you change your weapon skills it doesn't change the name next to it (I guess it goes Novice->?->Master), I have found that you can change this but it didn't add any new fighting animations
I'm also trudging through the memory looking for how to enable the rest of the skills and i've got a pretty good idea of how its done and its pretty easy to see the pattern, I just haven't had enough time to test it out.
For those who are upto experiment,
Set your Bow Skill to 0 and go to anyone who will teach you archery and make sure its says what i suppose is untrained or novice (you'll have to train atleast once to change it to it)
Search in TSearch for 0 (this will take awhile)
Train untill it reaches the 2nd stage at 30 and search for 1
Then train until 60 (it should say meister) and search for 2.
Reset your bowskill to 0 and train once and search for 0 repeat until you have 1 left. |

Is there some reason why I can't edit my posts?
I guess you lot have already figured out that you can change practically anything with a memory scanner although i'm having trouble changing items of which only 1 exist but i'm trying?
Also Ariakas if you could tell me how you got the paladins armour it'd be a great help |

The forums are having some "difficulties" right now.
It's being worked on. After Christmas we'll be moving to a new server. That should solve the problems hopefully. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Vexios, The Item number for the paladin's heavy armor is
ITAR_PAL_H.
Just open the NEWWORLD.SAV file in a hex editor in one of your saved games and do a search for "carryvob" without quotes.
There will be a lot of them, (the inventory for all characters in the game are here)
keep searching the file until you get to your inventory.
NOW, BE CAREFUL HERE. Do not add or remove the number of characters
To give yourself the paladins heavy armor, find a item that has 5 characters ITFO_WATER for example. change it to ITAR_PAL_H.
And that's the you do it without the dev tools.
Oh, by the way after the item code there is a comma then a number. This is how many of the items you have. ITAR_PAL_H, 1
Have fun

Anyway as an addendum to my previous post after you have the address right click and choose view this will open up a hex editor and if you scroll up and down you can easily see a pattern where I think the skill flags are kept.
I totally forgot to try and hex edit the save, thanks Ariakas |

The Awesome Dragonsnapper !! |
|
I started a new mage hero with a lot of damage scrolls and a few
"transfer to dragonsnapper scrolls" I tell you, if you ever come across this critter start running!
I transformed into one and as val says "I went on a killing spree"
The thing is awesome, it runs faster than you do and kills anything it can catch.
For those of you who have been outside the demo barrier there are two new camp guys talking to some farmers.
Well my dragonsnapper kill everyone in site (except Randolph, because he is invunuverable for some reason)
Also some of the teleport runes work, so it's easy to get out of the barrier now!
To Xardes Tower
To The Seaport
To the Tavern |

Did any one try to kill the "Big-great" paladin that greats you when you come into the city? I tried but I did him no damage. Do I have to have a better atack then his armor, or is he invincible? |

I believe he is invincible, but if not his armor gives him +100 protection and his sword does 90 damage per hit.
Good luck in beating him. |

A build him your self saved game |
|
This guy starts out at Xardas tower with original stats, but there are enough permanate potions here to recreate Superman!!
I call him a Spellsword, good with spells or a sword.
Just unzip into save game folder and it will create a save number 11
When you load the save game you will be standing next to the chest at the bottom of Xardas tower.
All your stats are at 10, health 40, mana 40. (See the potions below)
Inventory:
Weapons:
1 hand sword - Drachentoter, does 90 damage but requires 80 strength
A Hammer ---- Rabenschnabel, (Crows Claw) that does 58 damage, (I liked the name )
Dragon Bow --- DrachenBogen, Does 75 damage ( brings down a Orc Scout in 2 shots)
900 Arrows
Armor:
NC Heavy Armor +60 protection
Dragon Fighters Armor +80 protection
Paladin Heavy Armor +100 protection
Runes: Teleport to Xardes Tower, The Seaport, The Tavern.
Scrolls: Firebolt, Firestorm, Fireball, Light, Transform to Draggon Snapper
(300 of each)
Potions:
Elixer of Strength +5 Strength Perm.
Elixer of Dexterity, +5 Dexterity Perm.
Elixer of Health, +15 Health Perm.
Elixer of Intelligence +10 Mana Perm.
(50 of each)
Healing Elixer +100 Health Temp.
Healing Extract +70 Health Temp.
Mana Elixer +100 Mana Temp.
(300 of each)
(check out the chest for other goodies)

Hey Ariakas good job man. Maintain.
I have a question for you though. How the hell I can edit player stats (like health and mana) in the hex editor? I use XVI32 and it rocks - it's small and you don't have to install it. However, I still can't figure out how to find the stats for the player w/out adding some permanent potions. Is it possibe at all? I mean not to use potions and just increase the stats in the editor? _________________ All wrongs reversed |
