I had my #1 and #2 fighters get 'level drained' by the rattkin breeders, and I only had 1 potion that took care of this problem for my #1 character. That leaves me with one of my first line fighters with this problem and I'd like to get him cured. I went to the Arnika temple and went to the shop owners, but I can't find a cure for this.

My question: Where can I find a cure for Level Drain and what is the potion called?

(Please, please don't tell me I have to go back to Trynton for this potion).

Potion which cures draining is called "Renewal potion".
When you reach certain point in story, every "potion trader" will have it.

But this can help: try to use little pool in front of "trading monk" in Arnikas temple.
It has healing ability and not only healing, but it cures everything incl. draining.
But you can use only ones in a long time or maybe just once (I do not know if it is "recharging").

Doesn't a Potion of Restoration have this effect, too?? IIRC, I think I've used it to cure the drain attack....if you have one, you might give it a try..

No Restoration potion doesnt cure draining.
I tryied it several times (and if you klick on it, you can read something like: "Strong potion, cures everything except draining and death")

Restoration didn't work, and unfortunately the fountain in the Arnika temple didn't either, so I guess for the time being my guy is stuck with level drain until I can find another fountain or someone selling Renewal potions, which are pretty rare at least at this point in time in my game....

Dang, sorry to hear that Markus..drain is pretty deadly, too, as you PERMANENTLY lose those hp/stats..i.e. you can heal them all you want, but eventually their MAX abilities will go down...I learned this the hard way, as Vi lost about 15 max HP......

It don't help to kill him, and then resurrect him again. He still suffers from draining beyond his dead!
The Renewal potion will cost you 4-5K coins, and is very rare in the beginning of the game. so stay clear of Ratkin breeders and Vampire bats in the beginning, or prepare to reload unless you want live with a couple of lost hitpoints for your ill character.
