Why that little thief. I knew there was something fishy going on when he visibly paled, but there wasn't time to investigate it. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

And with stats like that don't worry much about six characters... nothing is going to challenge them at low levels anyways. I use a super-heroic stat buy system myself... but no character should have THREE 18s.
hehe, im new at this |

Well, you don't have to worry about me. My character only has two 18s. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

Ah, can't be too hard on the poor guy... he really did want to get it enchanted to protect the little tyke. He just wanted it to look like he had done it to score points with the family... especially the unmarried daughter.
The 'super' method I use is 10 + 24.
Basically, that's a 10 in each stat to start, and 24 points to buy them up with at a 1 for 1 basis. The limitations I use are no more than two 18s or no more than three 16s. It's insane but I like my players to have heroic characters. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I'm surprised that you had those posts hanging around... seeing as someone deleted my group on her way out of my life. That game was going to be a blast... I've still got most of my notes for the level 3 to 5 stuff and the level 6 to 8 adventure laying about. Even have the reason Antonio was targeted.
This game was deleted???!!!?!
Leg jumping may just be too good.
Xen, you are much calmer about this kinda of thing than I am. Such petty acts of wonton destruction are just plain evil and get my blood boiling! What a waste. That game was really going very well and might've made a half decent read when done (after a little cleaning up ... eg: Rorik kept flipping in and out of a psuedo highlands lingo), I am glad that Val kept a record of it.
If you *ever* get the idea in your head about resurecting it, I still have my character, Val's got her's so that's two. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

I am just now recovering from my busy season here at work ... I am not sure I should volunteer to run a game ... in any case, after having seen Xen at work, I have a destinct inferiority complex!! _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

It gets easier (but it's never 'easy'). Remember: Fun first, story second, rules third. Keep that in mind and keep them a close first, second, and third and everything works well. Don't let any lag behind too much.
Resist all urges to make your first game an apocalyptic battle between heaven and hell with the characters all being astral devas or solars or planetars where everyone can make a +10 flaming sword at will and call forth mystical armor of heavy fortification +12 that makes you immune to magic cast by evil opponents.
Never say "You enter the dragon's lair. It's out hunting... here's what treasure it has."
Try not to change the gravitational constant of the universe... too often. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I've been thinking of compiling a record of it in a big text document when I have the time. If I ever get around to it, I'll send you a copy.
