| My Experiences with Gothic II not loading. |

Unfortunately soon as PC gamer gave gothic II a 89% Rating and a RPG Runner up for RPG of the year, i went out and bought the game online.
i recived it three weeks later, in german.
so, anyway, im lucky enough to have a friend that bought the english version and he has lent me his CD's for the time being. I've made ISO's of the CDs and thought i could just kinda cheat and make a virtual drive and mount the images.
turns out Gothic doesnt like that, hence it won't load. I poped in the original CD and boom. it works.
go figure.
So, the next logical step is to burn the ISO onto a CD-R, right?
well, i thought so.... i just wasted a pritty expensive CD-R.
Turns out, if you're going to want to play the game, you need the original CDs.
So i'll only be playing untill my friend wants his CD's back.......
(no... the german CD doesnt work.) |
