1. Torches and campfires missing
2. Black intro movie (FYI: I've 2x Anti-Aliasing that didn't work)
System specs

Athlon XP 2000+
GeForce 3 Ti200 (using the 41.09 Nvidia drivers) |

Both: Driver problems. Only solution is to change drivers, but be aware - the newest aren't always the solution. Aw, if the one you have forks fine and, more important, stable, and you're not too frustrated with the problem do not change them. I would recomend, though, some certified drivers, like 40.72 WHQL Certified
The above link is not likely to solve the problem, since gothic is a rather old game..
EDIT(after I've noticed you have a gf3 card): You dunnot need 40.xx drivers... Read this post and pick one of the 30.xx series drivers that seems to have solved the problem. |

1. is a driver problem. I´m no longer up to date reg. nVidia drivers. Maybe one of the others can tell you the revision of a compatible XP driver.
2. usually happens with activated FSAA. Did you also try without and with 4xFSAA? _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
