Well, I finally hired a henchman. After some battles he finally confessed that he needs his family brooch. Prior to enlisting his help, I have searched almost everything in the Docks. Where is his brooch, will it appear in something I have already searched after he mentions the quest? |

I don't remember where it is, but it's there whether you have the quest or not. I completed 5 of the 6 henchie quests immediately before moving to the next chapter.

The brooch is located in a chest on the Bloodsailor's ship.

I have replayed that scene twice now, once with the Henchman, and once prior to having the Henchman and there is only junk in the three chests on the ship where the three sailors are standing. |

It's being held by a dwarf named Gorkan. He's in the challenge maze in the Green Griffon Inn.
