Traps and the level 4 fighter.

Sounds like a new novel. Anyway:

I am a level 3 or 4 Fighter, chapter one, who has used the "recommended" button all the way through to get my bearings. I am in the Blacklake District sorting through houses and the like looking for another Waterdavian creature.

I have a few questions:

How can I disable traps?

Can I use any of the "spells" that I find in chests, will I ever be able to, or should I just sell them?

Is there a bad consequence for winning the bar in the gauntlet?

I am just learning about the advantages of the quicktool bar and such but am having difficulty figuring a lot of small details out. For reference: YES, I own the cd, YES, I have the instruction manual and YES, I am a regustered user. . . . .For the record. I am just instruction manual inept and haven't the time nor the patience to read them. I like to figure a game out as much on my own as possible, usually. NWN is a doosey with the instructions and I only bought it because of RPGdot. I now truly love the game but still haven't the manual patience.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

And thank you for letting me be manual deficient.

Loves ~T

Right click on the chest. One of the options will be "disable". Note that your fighter probably has no points spent in the "disarm trap" skill, which means you might not do so well at it. Perhaps your henchman can help out?

Unless you change to a different class at some point, they are useless for you. Sell 'em.

Nope. You can return there occasionally for a few gold, but chances are you won't.

You're only 2 weeks late, Lintra. Temptress and I have already discussed ten foot poles and just what one might touch in a more private medium.

* curious what Temptress's methods of punishment might be since the chipper/shredder is already spoken for *

Ropes and A pinwheel. (The chiropractic kind)

Those are the only tools I need.
