hmmm...

Im a lvl 6 Mercenary right now in chapter 2. My one handed skills are at 35% (fighter) and the cost to go up to 40% has increased to 10 skill points instead of 5. Is this normal? I dont remember it being so costly my first time thru a few months back. As of now, the only people willing to train me (that Ive found) are Cord and Buster, and both require 10 skill points.

I think mercenaryes are concentrated on bows. Magic and swordfighting will cost you more.

no, it is normal that it costs 10 lp, but you wil also get 5% two-handed.

no.. the fighting skill cost more only to mages.. (double..) its normal that it cost 10 lp's.. whan you train with 10 lp's you alsow train with the other kind of fighting skill (if you train 1h with 10 lp's you get + to 1h and 2h.. if you train 2h with 10 you get +5 to 2h and 1h..)

No, not at all. It's gonna cost more LP's as long as you remain a rookie with 2 handed

So if I up my 2 handed skills to "fighter" status, the skill point cost for both will decrease?

ok...just to make it clear..when you have trained 1H up tp 30, and 2H still at 10 you'll have to use 10lp to train 5 new points in 1H, but then you will also get 5 points in 2H, but if you have 30 both on 1H and 2H it will cost 5lp as normal to train..but then you will not train on both. The same is for Bow and crossbow too
