TnotR was a complete mess when it came out in Germany. The release version was full of bugs and couldnīt be finished without massive cheating. The other 2 games were in the same league.

Well I haven't played the German version English one looked pretty stable and fully playable. Unlike G1, which I have replayed just recently - it crashes all the time and I've run into bugs (which required cheating or reloading to ged rid of) numerous times. Not to mention the massive amount of useless world running you have to perform there (G2 somehow overcame that problem - well at least to my feeling).

Yes.
And on top of that everything needs to translated in the English, the voice actors need to be informed, you need to record everything and of course this requires several takes to get it right. After that it need probably needs some computer enhancement etc.

I try every Elder Scrolls game that comes out, and I'm always disappointed, but progressively less so. Here's hoping they finally add some personality to go along with the beautiful open ended world. Until then NOTR

48 hours talking.. The whole game may not take that time if played directly to the goal (In a second/third time).

You can now count me out of that. Oblivions min req excluded my graphics card and I won't buy a card for one game (unless it's a Gothic)

I think people can live their lives without a game till Gothic 3. After all, their are always many things in life to enjoy/learn/see...
