Nope, looks like not.. He never said anything about his bag. Perhaps it was quest related and the devs forgot to implement it... Strange, isn't it? |

yup its quest related, when your trying to save Gorn from the prison and dont have enough money, then milten gives you a letter that you have to pass on to the prison guard(cant remember the name)... blah blah blah 
anywayz your just supposed to collect the money from it |

Well, let's say even if it IS quest realted, still, nobody mentions it. It's just a leather bag with Gorn's name on it and it doesn't matter for what will you use that gold, if you free Gorn or not, it's still there. And Gorn never mentions it..
That's what I'm saying, it's not quest related. Just a bag with a couple of coins. Noone will ever ask you for it. |

Gorn's leather bag? Where's is it? I only know Diego's and Keroloth's Leather bag

Ahh, but it *is* quest related and it *is* mentioned. This is how you do it:
1. You must activate the "Free Gorn from Prison" quest by talking to Milton and Garond
2. You must get contributions from both Diego and Milten
3. If you get money from both Diego and Milten and STILL don't have the $1000
to free Gorn (your actual money is checked), then Milten gives you a letter
to delliver Gorn.
4. Give the letter to the prison Guard who relays it to Gorn. Gorn will write back about where his leather bag is.
This is one of the more obscure quests in the game mainly because a lot of players simply have $1000 at that point and the quest is never activated.
Just a testament to the number of multitude of quest solutions the developers have packed into this game.

You can find his leather bag at a tower.It's in the write of the ram in the castel.It's dark but with a torch you will find it.

So, I have never tried to drop gold, but if you can, you could make extra money?

By the way, this might not warrant another topic, is there a use for the Message from Gilbert ? I have not played Gothic 1 yet, but it sounds like a wink to a Gothic 1 character ? I don't remember having met Gilbert in Chapter One or Two, maybe he shows up later? The message is found on a cliffside cavern coming down from the ram and to the right, by climbing there.
The message says something like 'I have hidden long enough here, they should not be looking for me anymore , I 'm leaving now'

yes he is a character from G1, you wont see him in G2 maybe we'll meet him in G3. and I sure hope so and ur_shak too

me thinks ur_shak is supose to be in G2 as well .. cant remember where i got that idea .. never met him in G2 .. but i think i ran across some sound files or something or a quest or whatever .. im not sure so dont hang me if im worng but i think hes there
... and by the way ... if orcs are supose to be an old civilication how come there are no female orcs ??

You meet Ur Shak in g2 near Xardax tower in VoM.
In g1,in the orc village there are some orcs that dance in front of the huts.These orcs don't have any weapons or armor and look slimmer than your ordinary orc warrior/scout. So me thinks these are orc females

I knew already that he was in g2 but thx for mentioning, but I ment i hope he returns in G3, hopefully as my friend again cause he was my only friend  or the only one I realy trusted
