| Boomerang effect when casting energy burst |
|
Just started. I made a mage with 6 fire magic and 9 wizardry. Each time I cast energy blast my monk apologizes and the burst comes boomeranging right back at him killing him, lol. What's going on? Is my fire magic too low at 6? I have it set to power level 3. |

When skill levels are low, it can backfire. If you look at the power levels, they'll be different colors. These colors represent the chance of failure. Green is safe, yellow is a chance of backfire, red is signing your own death warrent.

That's cool. If you attempt a spell in the red power level is it a guaranteed backfire, or is there a chance to cast it successfully? |

There's a chance it'll succeed. There's a much bigger chance that it won't though.

and that my freind is exactly why i refuse to use physical damage magic at all........
stick with sleep n paralyse n stuff.....that way yer peepz jus fall asleep er unconcious, then you dont have ta worry bout findin sum res powder...
anyways, have fun with it man.....i jus got outa arnika n let me tell ya....what a hassle...
