What a difference a good video card makes...

I was getting decent performance out of my Radeon 7200 32MB card. But I sold it and decided to pick up the Radeon 128MB 8500. Wow, what a difference. I have everthing maxed out now (still have shadows off though - I don't like the way they look in this engine). It is subtle in some ways, but in other ways the differences in quality and performance is astounding. Pixel Shaders are on now - man it really does improve the water and other textures. The other good news is that I no longer have any crash to desktop problems, not that they happened all the time anyway.
