Ultima IX: Ascension...
Great game!
It still the BEST RPG for me!
And Great site!
Thanks to authors!
I completed the game with 1.18f patch in far 2000. It was slow (but NOT TOO SLOW on my P3-667,128Mb,ATIRage128Pro32Mb), it was bugged (but NOT TOO BUGGED! e.g. gravity worked well), and it was FANTASTICALLY INTERACTIVE and BEAUTIFUL!!!
But there still a few questtions for me. The main is:
Does anyone knows what heappend with horses in Ultima IX? Why all they are hanged?
I'd meeted a man in Wrong, who told me what the answer is in Paws. I'd searched very hard, but not succeed! |

Ha-ha!
Thank you PlaidDragon!
But is there any serious answer?
Or it's just uncompleted part of scenario? |

It's an easteregg, only accessible with cheats. IIRC there lies a note regarding this under the horse-corpse near Paws (which is our old friend Smith), hidden under the levelgeometry, thus the cheats. |
