Screen Tearing

Hey guys, Im getting alot of screen tearing when outside wondering the forrests. I used to get in in Quake III and all I had to do was enter "/r_swapinterval 1" and it cleared it right up.
Is there any option like this in Morrowind? Its driving me nuts. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

it would help to know your system specs - but as a general advice: enable VSYNC and don't press overclocking too hard...

HEY!!! monkey monkey..I havent sleept. I haent played alot either. But what Ivé done is magic. I have a solution for you.

When I started morrowind on my duron 950mhz 256mbram gf2 gts overclocked to the brink of destruction(dont worry its also cooler then my girlfriends buttocks ;P )

I knew I wouldnt get everything without pixel shader support.
(sorry if im wastiing your time with my babbling)

But when I started it I was choked. 16bit textures, tearing, chokes, and stuttering. etc, etc. So I thought fuck it.

And started looking for some gfx configurations. lowerd to 800x600 and used the distance sliders, etc, etc. Much better, but still not as nice in the pics.

tearing eliminating: go in to you morrowind cfg file (its .ini in you folder dude) then lower max fps from 240 to your screens hz (in my case 100, but most usual is 85hz, and if your a morron who doesnt have a clue you probably run in the fuck ups hertz = 60)

so go go go
