I just won it for the second time, and I drafted up a third party which I don't intend to take past Trynton. Mostly just to play around with classes, to play the last 4 I haven't used. I plan to spend more time on my second party for more serious play. My bishop never did quite learn every spell....

But a couple of questions / comments about the ending this time:
1) Didn't use Vi at all. Got to Cosmic Circle, and Bela filled me in on the stuff Vi gave me first time through. I was disappointed - I thought I got something special for ascending with Vi
2) On the road in, there was a green dot on my radar map off to the left. I couldn't figure out a way to find anyone there, even though I got right next to it. Anybody else have this? (Or is this where all the disappearing RPCs go? )
3) Has anybody tried to attack Phoonzang after ripping the page out of the book? I thought about it, but didn't try it. If no one knows, maybe I'll give it a try myself.

1) The conversation plays out a little different, but (like you say) the basic info is the same.

2) That's not the dot for Altheides, is it? There's no way to get down into that pit where the Savant kills him, but I think he still pops up on the radar. Is that the location you're talking about?

3) Beats me, give it a spin!

No. After you leave AP, you walk a "road" through space (the only way you can go) to get to a building, wherein you'll find Altheides, Bela & Dark Savant. Right before you enter the building, on the left, there is kind of a column just floating there. (There's the same column on the right, too, but that's not where I get the green dot.) The radar map shows a green dot right there - in, on, or under the column, as there's no perspective on the radar map. I couldn't figure out anything to do there, so I gave up. I don't remember this from my first game through.

I did finish the game the second time through without disarming the bomb in the savant tower. I'd just like to mention that the amount of detail sir-tech put into this game is amazing. What happened was, after you put in the 3 objects, you'll see the savant at the portal of AP. You go up to him and he says what he usually says until the bomb part. Then the savant laughs and the whole screen goes white. The finishing screen says that you've finished the BOOF ending. On the topic of easter eggs, go up to Saxx in the Umpani bar and say Back Street Boys, Shania Twain and other pop band you can think of and check out what Saxx has to say.

I put my money where my mouth was, and replayed the ending and attempted to kill Phoonzang after I tore the page from the book. I was sorely disappointed, as I could not target him with any attacks. So it would appear that I have been outsmarted by Sir-Tech, as I did not find an additional ending sequence or a bug.

A utility that allows you to adjust the movement speed of critters during combat. It speeds battle up since you don't have to wait 5 minutes for those juggernauts to stagger into melee range.

If you're interested, send an email to me using little button below and I will reply back with the utility attached.
