You don't even need much ore in Gothic, because all the good weapons are found from dungeons etc. The only thing that you need money for is potions etc.
It's really dumb how the character smokes the weed. He just puts it in his nose and throws it away.

He does'nt put it up to his nose LOL. He is using his fist as a bong. The weed is between his fingers and smoke goes through his fist and into his mouth.

I think I used the thing I found in a chest near my house. If I remember it was called "Panito", but I'm not sure.
Anyway, the merchant in town paid 200 for it.
