While we're on the topic...

Since we're on the topic of games that we anticipate, I'd just like to say that I'm looking forward to "Tron 2.0" and "The I of the Dragon" as well. Both games seem quite interesting and original. The art direction for both games help inspire me also.

Also, I hope Etherlords 2 turns out better than the first one. The cliche plot detracted from the game, I feel. However, the premise of the game was fascinating, and the mechanics were definitely intriguing. I'm glad they're taking the RPG route this time around. However, they still need a good storyteller to thresh out the game. Otherwise it'll end up as another pile of poo.

Reflexive Entertainment has a back catalog full of decent but relatively uninteresting games. I´m not sure Lionheart will be able to compete with the best products in a genre full of high quality games.

Reading a preview of Gothic II, im really anticipating it now. Its the only RPG "story" lately that Ive been drawn into, I actually am really curious as to what post-barrier life will bring

Actually I'm anticipating Dungeon lords more than G2 because I want multiplayer too.

Deux Ex 2 - after some info from recent interviews and previews, i definitely look forward for it. It's most interesting genre-bending game to date: an action + RPG (+ maybe simulation too).

Freelancer (Not on the list) - From previews, this one look like "Morrowind in space" with huge game world and open ended gameplay; a space simulation + RPG + action.

I've been looking forward to Freelancer, as well. I actually tried to pre-order it from the US today but Microsoft won't allow them (Gamestop, EB) to ship it outside the US. I won't say how much that ticks me off!

@Gorath, Zax was done on a shoestring budget but really isn't too bad. I think with the expertise of BIS in the background they'll really exceed their previous efforts. Of course, time will tell .

Poor Dhruin, I'd ship you a copy, but after finding out the shipping costs for Australia, I don't want to sign over my immortal soul to get it there.

Thank you for the sympathy, Val . As you can see, it's not cheap to get things here - but if I'm prepared to pay it, shouldn't that be my choice? I'll let it go now...

Australia, huh? That sucks... And just try getting your hands on GTA3 in THAT country!

I'll have Mailboxes Etc fax you a payment form. Although, you'll have to mail it back to prove that you signed in blood.
