Is anyone else as excited as I am about the movie being released in the US soon called "Hero" (or "Jet Li's Hero")? Is it even possible to see the trailer and NOT be excited about it?

Excited? No movie has 'excited' me in years. The last movie I really, really wanted to see was Terminator 2 when I was ... 16? 15? Somewhere in there.
I do want to see Hero, though. It looks cool... and looking cool is all any movie has been able to get from me for years. Even the Lord of the Rings, which I thought was awesome. There was no anticipation for each movie. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Hero's good - not as good as Crouching Tiger IMO (there are a couple of fight scenes that I thought were just "for the sake of it" rather than having any real place in the story), but still very good. Excellent story and some dazzling visuals. |

It's really good. It's been out on DVD for a couple of years. Like Iron Monkey, I will go to the theater when it gets re-released in the US.
This movie has both Jet Li & Donnie Yen(Iron Monkey).
Problem is, the theatrical version will probably be dubbed like Iron Monkey was...which sucks...when you already own the movies in the original languages and then go to the theater...and the movie seems kinda cheesy because of the dubbing.
Anyway, it's a great flick!!! _________________ Between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities…there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars…Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand…to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandaled feet. - Robert E.
