I cant join any game ,
it says "select charcter" but doesnt let me select any of them,
it just ignore the accept botton
after few minutes it kick me out to the game list
any solution??? |

If you have the IP correct and this is happening, with the server up, make sure neither you, nor the server are behind a prohibitive firewall. I had to force it to punch through my firewall to be able to play.

Yes same here. I use a router and had to connect my modem straight into my machine, but after that I was able to connect and host. |

Check this (from Readme):
DirectPlay will fail to host or join games on a computer that becomes a member of a network using the “Auto-configuration IP Address” feature of Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. To resolve this issue, manually configure the IP addresses of the machines on the network. |

This seems to be in the case of only private LANs. I use DHCP for my computer and can play with no issues.
