Umm, 1 level / minute?

I found it here:

http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1026158289828.shtml

Hmm, this is also a "cheat" mod, you will kill "Ninja Cows" that can make 1 hp damage if they ever hit, when you kill them you get 300 exp.

Yep, that's the one. I quickly got bored with it, but if you want extra fast leveling, that's IT!

The maker of this module probably set the XP payout to something like 300% or something. Insane XP give-out for kills, and there are swarms of enemies in there, all of them pretty easy, except for the level bosses which are dragons that attack so fast they kill you before you can even hit once... Very bad balancing...

It's not cheating. It's education. If BioWare provided us with proper documentation on how things work, we wouldn't need to custom make items and give ourselves levels to attempt to reverse engineer stats and feats. I have no intention of spending 50 more hours trying to see if the character type is viable. I'd rather spend 5 minutes and once I conclude it IS viable, spend 50 hours enjoying the progress I know will work at the end.

This is not true. I explained couple of times by now how to use the command and how it is bugged. It produces consistent results (for me at least).

But wait Rawis, I'm all lost here...

Isn't that what you asked for in the first place??? A module that would allow you to level up fast so you can get your character to a higher level and have an easier time in MP?
What's the difference if the DM just levels you up? A DM that levels you up so your character is of adequate level for his module is NOT cheating! Let's not get confused with terms here. If you do the same thing so you can have a level 20 character to start the SP campaign from the very beginning, then yes, that's cheating. It's not cheating if the purpose is to enable you to fit in with the rest of your party. It's cheating if you use a level 20 character to complete a mod designed for level1-5...

Let's calm down on the cheating paranoia now

You should try this some time. It may change your mind.

I tried it and all things around you got harder. I only played a little in the first chapter with the character and now everything was harder. Much more gangleaders and thugs and so on.

Ekim, i wan't a module with normal enemies, like goblins, orcs and such, and when you kill them you should earn normal exp! Not a module with Ninja Cows... :p

Well then open up the single player campaing in the toolset and go the the MODULE setting in the Edit menu. In the advanced tab, change the XP giveout to 100 (it's at 10% by default).

But then you might consider that cheating... so then if that's the case just create yourself a custome module with normal enemies and set the XP giveout at 100%, same procedure as above.

As for starting the normal campaign at level 20, I heard about the difficulty going up. I was just illustrating my point Let's just say that to do that otherwise if there was no difficulty adjustments then it would be cheating.

One question to thos who tried that allready: Are the boss monsters the same level even if you are level 20, or are they scaled like the encounters?

I don't doubt that. The thing is that I know you can set encounters to be scalable depending on the level of the character that triggers it, or even depending how many characters are in the party. But what about key NPCs? They are hard coded in the module, they are of a certain given level and a certain CR. Maybe they can include a script that will make it scalable too, but I don't know...

Isn't leveling the Fun part ?

I think the leveling part is the best part of the game you get to see your toon expand and grow in a meaningfull manner. I think if we encourage cheating it will make people say why bother when you can just turn a switch to be all powerfull.

I couldn't agree more. But I also hate the idea of playing a character for 20 hours to bring it to level 12 or so, only to find out that it's not working out.

I used "cheats" only to ascertain feasibility of certain multiclasses.
