I just got the game and love it. My question is about the prison, I got all the way to the head guy and let all but one guard out with persuasion.. Then I killed him thinking I would get the brain creature,but nothing and the room is empty now. Where did the creature go? Thanks for any help and sorry about a probably dumb question. |

After killing each person that the devourer possess it should spawn and run to the next available body. When it has no more bodies to possess it should attack you directly. When it dies it will drop it's brain. This did not happen? What version are you running?

This is a known problem/bug with this area. There are actually 2 areas in the game that have unfixed bugs like this. The cause is saving a game or autosaving and then reloading in the first five minutes of the area. Bioware is working on a patch for this. This might be why the devourer is not appearing. Check http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/ for more information.

I have not ever noticed any bugs during the entire game but after reading all these posts I am being thankfu for this. The only thing I can think of if it is not a bug is that he went invisible on you and you just have to sit there and wait for him to attack you. That happened a lot to me.
