Siege Editor and Saved Games

First of all, let me say this: in the "A view on Dungeon Siege: Sweet or Simple" I said that its graphics pretty much sucked and that the gameplay was boring. But now I have seen the light! It really is a cool game, with sweet graphics (I just had to finetune my videocard) and lots of carnage.

I still think the game could have been better with more and better designed sidequests, better character animation (like in Summoner) and the option to choose a route towards a certain destination, but overall, I'm glad I bought it, and I officially join the ranks of those who love DS.

But now for my questions:

1) Does anyone know when the Siege Editor will become available for download?

2) I want to copy my saved gmes onto a recovey CD, but where are they being stored? I can't find the files in wihich they are kept. Anyone have any ideas?

Concerning the saved games folder: I just need to know its name, finding it will be the least difficult part. I assume it's simply in the main DS folder?

No, it is in Document folder of your Windows.

Every Windows create its Document folder during install and in this folder puts DS its save files.
Path is different in different versions of Windows.
In my XP it is:
c:Documents and Settings/Hmm/Dokuments/Dungeon Siege

In win98 it will be something like
Documents/Dungeon Siege...

Siege Editor is supposed to be released early May. I'd guess within a few weeks.

Thanks for the help people, I've managed to find the saved games' file, they were simply in my "My Documents" folder.

About your savegames:

Savegames are stored in directory you directed to be your data (default "My Documents"). You can easily disable this "feature" and copy all files in "My documents/Dungeon Siege save" subdir to DS own game folder. Game after next run will detect that savegames are now in new place. Copy contents only, not subdir.

You can copy saves to your game directory. I don't know yet, if you can move it to another dir.
