You have found Xardas' book, which means that you asked Pyrokar and have access to the guarded library. Make sure, though, that you read the letter Lester gave you BEFORE you open the book. Otherwise, you won't know how to get rid of the seal from the book.

  1. If you read Xardas' book, a key should fall out.
  2. Now, in the same library, try "clicking" every single lamp. There's a lamp which will move a bookcase. (I'll need to post screenshots if you want to know which specific lamp.)
  3. Once a bookcase moves, go down the secret passage.
  4. You'll enter the ancient cellar. Kill all the undead until you find a skeleton mage.
  5. In the room with a skeleton mage, you should find a door.
  6. Open the door with the key that has dropped from Xardas' book.
  7. Now, you should hear some noises from the demons.
  8. Kill the demons in the secret library.
  9. In the secret library, there is a table. Grab ALL the stuff on the table.
  10. There should be a sea map in your inventory. READ IT.
  11. A new quest, "I need a ship," is triggered, and you should be able to ask people to join your crew.
  12. Also, there are two bookstands in the secret library. One of them is called "Alamach". READ IT, its material will help you prepare for the final battle.

There are further missions to follow regarding the secret library. However, the solutions are different depending on which guild you joined. (e.g. Dragon Hunters need to forge sword; Paladins need to find Heavy Armor; Mages need to upgrade their magic skills.) Tell me which guild you're now and perhaps I can help you more.

  1. Read the "Alamach". It's on one of the bookstands in the secret library.
  2. Make sure you have grabbed all the items on the table.
  3. Now, go back upstairs (to the monastery) and do 2 things.
  4. (1) In the shrine room, consecrate your sword.
  5. (2) In the library, synthesize a teleport rune using a machine called "Rune Table". If you don't have Holy Water, you can buy it from Lutero in the city Upper Quarters.
  6. Equip the teleport rune, and cast teleport.
  7. You should see your heavy armor in front of your eyes.

Once you got all the runes from Albrecht, you're well prepared for the final battle.

Find a ship, ask for a crew, and be prepared for the final expedition.

It is very similar to the Paladin, at least the going down to the library stuff. There you will be able to read a book on one of the book-stands detailing how to forge a Dragonslayer sword. Good thing about it is, you now know how to forge a Dragonslayersword even if you haven't learned any blacksmithing skills beforehand. Now you will only need to find a little dragonsblood and some ore and you are ready to forge the strongest one- or two-handed sword, whichever strikes your fancy.
