Well that is somehow a step forward. Is it possible to apply the English text patch to the Spanish and French versions?
Or is it worth waiting a while to see if an English release will be released?
I'm getting so tired of waiting. |

what is wrong whit these people .. the english voices was recorded a veeeeeeeery long time ago and they are releaseing all kinds of vresions of the game whit the english voices ..
but no english version .. not even a date when it might be out ..
come on you gotta give us something .. anything .. why do you hate us oh publisher of night of the raven ??

If you own the english version can you buy the french expansion and expect it to work? If so I will do this as I loved Gothic and Gothic 2 myself....

Exactly.. the platinum super-pack thingy that is released 5 years from now probably has Gothic 1, Gothic 2+add-on and Gothic 3+add-on, all in English, for 10 bucks or something. But you're going to have to wait untill then to get it =P |

Well technically theres is a patch out there. The fan-mod is all about english text, so if it is possible to install that onto the france add-on...???...
The problem then will be that the game would be in france and the add-on in english, so it will still not be 100 %.
Maybe it is true that the english marked is very small compare to the russian, french and spanish ones, but still, when we know that "Raven" is out in english, but with different .exe-files and spanish and french text........how hard can it be????....please

im gonna give the english version another month to hit the stores
and if its not out by then im gonna try makeing a hybrid

World of Gothic: There are rumors about an impending release of the English version of the addon. Can you give us more details?

That is interesting. Straight from the developers. it seems they will have a say so in publishing now, something alot of other game delevopers could do so thier products are done well.
'English versions' could means the French release on June 17 that just happens to have an option for the add-on voices in English.
It must have the original English addon recorded voices from 2 years ago in order for it to flow and sound like the original actors from the English Gothic 2.
As for the Polish and Russian, they recorded all new voices completly. It was claimed that the Spanish version would also be voiced, but that is TBA for now.
Myab ATARI will let them publish a real UK version...
