Im in the old mine trying to get the sercretions of cor calom i have my help im at the gate to the dark shaft where the nest is and the guard told me to raise the gate with winch but winch is jammed and i cant figure out how to open it?

Winches are used like everything else in the game. Stand close to it, then press ctrl + up.
Reload your last savegame if it doesn´t work.
This was probably the most serious bug the German version had. ALLWAYS save before you touch a winch!
