Help with destroying akbaa meteor.

the last thing i did was kill the snake chicks in the crystal mines,then I went to the temple of akbaa with the zohark and the koraz put them on as rings,but the meteor still drains my mana and I dont know how to destroy it .tried to dispel the field around it but that didnt work,tried alot of stuff .Anyone know how it needs to be destroyed or do I have to go trigger some game plot first?

you sure?

Are you sure you are wearing the correct rings? If you are wearing Krahoz and Zohark (or whatever they are called) correctly, the meteor should NOT drain you, and just clicking on it should take care of it. If it doesn't, then you may have broken a plotline somehow....
