Non Medieval RPG's ?

Well, the ones that spring to mind and I have played are:

Fallout
Fallout 2
(combined, now as a budget buy)
Planescape Torment
System Shock 2
Deus Ex

Someone mentioned Jagged Alliance 2.
This is an excellent strategy/rpg/squad level war game.
This is well worth a blast. It will take ages to play and there are quite a few nice touches in it. For example, you can find Tape, metal pipes and other "obscure" items.
However, you can combine the pipe with a rifle to extend its range.
There is an overall goal to achieve, but there are a host of missions also.
Not state of the art grafix, isometric view but a damn good game. It flips to turn based during combat...oh I could go on and bore you to tears, but I still play it now and again.
There is (apparently) an expansion pack (Unfinished Business) which I haven't found yet.
JA 1 appears to be abandonware.
If you see JA2, buy it. You will not be dissapointed.
