please help me with DOlby DIgital

if anyone can help i really appreciate it

i have soundblaster audigy with creative 5.1 speakers with extrenal dolby decoder i can see movies in dobly but games doesnt work with it they all stay streo when i chose dobly digital it still stays on streo and i just cant hear half of the effects if anyone can help pleas do

did you try going to the creative website for new drivers/patches? I have SB audigy with the 5.1 speakers also. I don't have an external decoder though.

does the decoder support games? Im not sure if every external decoder supports games. If it does then do what Roqua said. Otherwise Im all out of suggestions

sup guys thanx for trying to help well i do have the latest drivers and my creative inspire digital 5500 is desigend for games and movies (i think) and even in far cry u can acutually choose dolby digital 5.1 and it still doesnt work though to see movies in dts i need to disable the ac3 decode in the soundblaster to let the external decoder do the job and choose spidf and it works fine the lid of the dolby digital turns on and all is good but none of the games it works i tryed everything and still no good
