Spanish Gothic2 version on february!!!! |
|
i know that this information is really out of interest for a lot of you, but a lot of spanish gothic fans who donīt speak english very well are really happy because of this
nobilis iberica will distribute a gothic2 spanish version (text and voices in spanish) for 20 in february 2005!!!
i prefer to keep the english voices and just translate the subtitles, but, hey!!!, iīm not nobilis
i think that it has taken so long cause they had to wait until atari released some kind of licence, donīt know really well, just speculating...

New info will follow soon on our homepage www.gothic2.com and www.jowood.com

No kidding, he states it has ENGLISH voices. Heck, I would buy the Spanish version. I speak and read Spanish better since it is almost a second language here in the USA.
SO what is this about Gorath mention about a G2 add-on coming out in different languages during Q1/05? I read that in the offical English sticky thread. _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |

I don't quite understand. The Spanish version of NOTR will have English voices but Spanish sub-titles?
Even if this means the menus are in Spanish (which I assume) it still makes the lack of the full English version incomprehensible.
I wonder if it would be easily modable to full English............. |

Is it so hard to understand that the English version has been finished more than a year ago? Itīs only waiting for somebody who has both the intention, the rights and the logistics to put it on the shelves.
Atari didnīt want to, JoWooD wasnīt allowed to and had to get the rights back from Atari, plus they need a partner to move the boxes. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

No, it's very simple to understand. It's accepting it that's difficult. Especially when we read that JoWood have re-acquired the rights yet still there is no proposal to get it on the shelves.
This is more about politics than anything and it suggests that the publisher has no respect for or loyalty to its English speaking target market. |
