EA has announced a new expansion for 'Ultima Online' - <a href="http://www.uo.com/uose.html" target="_blank">Samurai Empire</a>. Thats just stupid. If they want to contend with the likes of EQ2, WoW, or DE, they aught to STOP bleeding UO dry and make a UO2, imho. Everybody is staying current with technology. I know UO might be a good game, but get with it, ppl. Your tech is ancient, your graphics stink (even when it was new), your customer base is fading, your reputation is at the bottom of the barrel because of your cancelling UXO, just get with it. EQ2 and WoW are going to take your entire fanbase away except for the losers that are still running Windows 95 on a Pentium 2.

I bet they started work on this expansion just after 'The Last Samurai' was released.

You really have to hand it to the folks at EA, they are very original!
