I knew by the title that it will catch your attention. I did some research (Finger Quote), and found out some release information, however i'm not positive/ certain that they are official. Go to the following sites to find out:

I only hope that these links are talking about the ENGLISH version, but either way, Gothic 2: Night of the Raven will be out soon. I am pretty sure. They said themselves the voice recording had began some time ago, so they should be finished it by now, and just adding finishing touches.

This "release date" is known for at least 6 months. It“s a placeholder. Dec. 31st is the worst possible moment to release a new product. After Christmas and before the weak months Jan and Feb.

Got that right.
I'm getting used to the German one anyways, and liking it. The voice actor for the hero is sooooooo good. The entire voice sequence in the bandit camp by him and others is phenomenal.

Is it just me, or is anybody else getting sick and bored with all these "!!!" threads? I mean, it is one thing to hope, but this is getting ridiculous... I am not saying tNotR is not coming out; I'm not saing it is either. But, could one be more of an inconsiderate person to put up this kind of information without being absolutely sure? And, after all we have been through... The information displayed on the Serbian gaming site - Kompjuterske igre - might have been remotely accurate at some point in time, but that site hasn't been seriously updated since spring this year (maybe only the pages in native tongue, and just with essential news). Do not forget to check the actual year the article was made...
So, one of your two sources is not providing true information, and to make your mind over only one source is not responsible. |

I agree with you,I don't think the NOTR will com out .They change the dates every 4-5 months.How do they know that the NOTR is coming out in 2 months  .

well i don't think it will come out ever, bought the german addon and that's it
i'm not spending more money an english version, the next gothic in english i'll buy will be hopefully gothic 3

I'll bet there are more nonuptaded sites that have posted info about NOTR release date so as long as the game is still out there we are still going to have this discutions

Gee its quite funny, but some ppl took what I said really, and I mean REALLY seriously. It was just some information about release dates which I mentioned are not official. Others got abit upset that I used !!! in the thread whilst not providing concrete info. But I actually want to add one thing:
Sure release dates have been changing and being extended, but there has not been any news that the game will not come out. Who-ever thinks otherwise, should find proof and post it.
Like Hagen said, simply: It'll be out, trust me

well i remeber gothic 2 the english version .. it was possible to preorder it from places like amazone 2 or 3 months before it was releast .. so if this is indeed true it should be possible to find it there .. but i havent seen it so far but i'll give it another try
